I came across an insightful article on genuine fellowship and building a community. It's important to seek out environments that empower and equip you, rather than those that control and train you. Building relationships as Jesus did is not a one-size-fits-all approach.

Fellowship can be as simple as spending time with a neighbor and does not rely on us having the same opinions or experiences. It's about sharing in the life of Jesus through the power of the Spirit. True fellowship involves God's people coming together and sharing in this life, while broken fellowship with God can lead to broken fellowship with His people.

We all struggle to remember we are not creating a tribe but rather we walking out a belief in our understanding of Him. His church lives inside of us and is not confined to the walls of a building we attend on Sunday.
